OUR INVOLVEMENT IN THE VISIT FROM THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA

As an established and well-known provider of quality vehicles, with a reputation of offering a professional and reliable service, we were once again chosen as the preferred company to supply the American Embassy with a vehicle when the former President of the United States attended the UK during July 2018. This was our third year in a row assisting with the President’s visit.

The visit from the former President and the First Lady during July 2018 saw their arrival on Air Force One into London Stansted, where they were met with a guard of honour by airmen from the RAF. A fleet of security, at a reported cost of £30m, swept the President and the First Lady off to Winfield House in Regents Park the home of US Ambassador by helicopter to avoid London traffic.

We used our vehicle Poseidon, along with a 45’ flat trailer fitted with side rails for edge protection. Poseidon’s driver was Christopher Payne, who skilfully manoeuvred the vehicle into position; Bradley Grant was also there to assist with the positioning of a set of access steps. The trailer was then used as a press stand for all the media’s photographers. The access steps were specially made for the occasion and were also fitted with handrails for edge protection. These were made by a local company based in Brandon.
