Position: Key Account Manager Location: {North Yorkshire LS25 6ES} Type: Permanent, Full-time Salary: £30,000.00-£34,000.00 per year

Key Account Manager main duties will include:

• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with the client, ensuring high levels of customer service are maintained. Resolving customer issues efficiently
• Updating the Transport Management System with all relevant data
• Ensuring the correct vehicle type is selected to meet the customers’ requirements
• Identifying opportunities to ensure the best rate is provided and most efficient use of resources
• Be proactive in developing business activity with both new and existing clients
• To ensure all costings are complete and correct on a daily basis
• To make sure that all relevant documentation is accurately generated and distributed

Person Specification:

• Experience of working in a transport industry preferred
• Excellent communication and customer-facing skills
• Good organisational skills
• Good analytical and planning skills
• Self-motivated, professional and proactive individual who is able to generate new business
• Independent decision maker with the ability to interact within a busy team environment
• A flexible approach to work
• High level of IT & PC literacy and ability to adapt to new technology
• High levels of numeracy and literacy
