Tall, wide, long or heavy - we have the trucks, trailers and highly trained drivers to suit! Our Key Account Managers can specify the exact vehicle required for the job. Our smallest trucks take care of the 8` long x 8` wide, whilst the largest accommodate the very big cabins at 60` long x 14` wide utilising our rear steering extendable trailers.
David Watson Transport has police dispensation for the majority of the United Kingdom for up to 3.5 metre wide loads. This means where other transport companies would have to notify two clear working days ahead to the County Constabulary they are passing through, we do not.
For those containers that have to go indoors, we have a fully trained installation team to skate into position and jack down. Whether they are 8` or 60` they present no problem.
The vehicles specified for cabins can have a reach up to 16 metres, which allows us to position cabins end on, over obstacles and also double stack. On site, positioning of a cabin is easy. The remote control crane allows the operator to be with the cabin on his own without troubling the contractor for labour to help.
To save the customer time and money, we operate Police approved escort vehicles, again, with trust and knowledge from the local Constabularies that David Watson Transport will always act in the interests of safety and responsibility.
