Machinery removal, transportation and relocation is a highly skilled sector of our business, requiring fully trained and experienced staff together with the latest vehicles, cranes and equipment. From collection to delivery, every stage is appropriately insured for each operation, and cover can be tailored to suit each individual customers needs.
The keyword with any machine move is "expertise". Unlike most general items that are craned and transported, machines do not necessarily have an obvious lifting point so can prove to be a challenge. David Watson Transport's drivers/crane operators have the experience and knowledge required to remove, transport and install all types of machinery, safely and efficiently.
Specialised trucks, with up to 100 tonne metre remote control cranes undertake this work, and they are all fully equipped with jacks, skates and lifting gear. From single items to complete factory relocations, we have all the necessary tools; including forklift trucks and vehicles fitted with sliding tilts to move the more delicate items. Where required, David Watson Transport will also provide site surveys by an Appointed Person with site specific Method Statements & Risk Assessments for total project management and complete peace of mind.
